Hello guys! We’re so sorry for the super lack of updates here. It’s all because LilSis who is in charge of writing the post was busy preparing her and MidSis’ trip to Belitung. If you follow our instagram (@marychristina_ , @jessicacharis_), I bet you’ve seen our post from Belitung. We also plan to share our trip soon! However, today we want to share to you guys about our favorite hotdogs from Dogkyo!
If you also follow #SnapFoodie instagram, you would know that we were Vacanza University’s media partner. Vacanza University is the first university thematic bazaar in Indonesia. It was held in Grand Indonesia on 19-21 June 2015. One of the most memorable food we had there was Dogkyo.
Dogkyo has a unique and eye-catching logo. MidSis had been craving to try their hotdog for ages. They serve 3 different flavors such as Dogkyo Magnitude, Bakuhotsu, and Subaracheese. Because Bakuhotsu is spicy, we only bought Dogkyo Magnitude and Subaracheese.
This J-Dog consist sausage, special cheese sauce, and topped with honey soy, and sauteed shimeji mushroom. All we could say about this hotdog is… Mind blowing delicious! The sausage was cooked perfectly and the topping add a great texture to this J-Dog. We definitely would comeback to their venue soon!
Dogkyo Magnitude, 40k
Super delicious and we just failed to move on. The hotdog is drizzled with tonkatsu sauce, Japanese mayonaisse, and then topped with sweet corn kernels, and katsuobushi (bonito flakes). Everything just mix perfectly! Eating this might be messy, but do not worry as they also provide you some plastic hand gloves.
Overall, we had a superb time eating Dogkyo’s hot dog. It was super big and superrrrr delicious. It was enough for two people. But if you have a big tummy and big appetite 😉 , don’t hesitate to enjoy it by yourself. So what are you waiting for? Let’s eat foodies! 🙂
