Hey! It’s been a while since we post our food review right? This time, we are going to cover MidSis’ food trip with her fellow friends.
As you all know, Chung Gi Wa is really famous for their delicious Korean food. They have many branches with the newest one on Flavor Bliss. But that time, Mid Sis went to their outlet at Puri Indah Mall. The ambiance inside their venue was dominated with red-wooden things. Starting from the floor, until their table and chairs. Actually, their outlet was quite spacious with many tables, so you won’t need to be afraid not to get seated.
The meat price vary from 65k – 95k. Sounds a bit pricey right? However, we will prove you that the foods are super worth it! For the drink, you can order many types of drinks starting from tea until Korean Beer / soju / rice wine.
The juicy pork tenderloin (neck). Super succulent and of course delicious. The portion was quite big and compared to the price, it was super worth it.
It is pork belly with the skin on, a.k.a ‘five-layered meat’. It was fatty and delicious. The portion was quite big (the same portion as Mokdengsim).
We’re presenting… Chewy pork cheek with 90% PORK FAT for y’all pork lover! It was absolutely delicious and very juicy. However, it’s not that flavorful.
Soondubu Chige, 65k
Tofu stew. This is something great and delicious but not to scream for. Well, we can say this one taste just like other Soondubu Chige out there.
Many must be confused with the difference of Samgyupsal and Ogyupsal. Actually, the difference is located on the skin. Ogyupsal is pork belly with the skin ON while Samgyupsal is pork belly with the skin OFF. The taste? Both were superrr good.
Overall, we conclude that Chung Gi Wa is one of our favorite Korean Restaurant, alongside with HanGang. They serve the freshest meat. The price is super reasonable compared with their meat quality.
